Wanted this to go with the Grasshopper I should get around to building.
Like many others on here, I remember these from my youth - at the time it was the ultimate motor and was always out of reach to me.
Now I have a second hand one, so no fear of using it as intended, an original upgrade on a re-re chassis!

The Most Loved Motor in the whole world, I adored the Technigold as a kid. Fascinated me, as did the BigWig that was next to it in the 1987 Tamiya Catalogue. I have the vintage Tamiya video showing the Technipower... wonder if they did a video promo of the Technigold in the same vein? I'd love to know. Best Wishes, Alistair G.
