Bruiser #3 (First Annual Big-Air Event)
Here is my latest project…Bruiser #3. I have pieced this entire thing together, right down to the last nut and bolt. It took me some time, but I really had to have a Bruiser that I could run and run hard, not worrying about the paint job or something getting cracked or broken. The frame and all metal bits received a cleaning and polishing, prior to assembly. Even though this is a runner, I could not bring myself to assemble it without proper cleaning and polishing of all metal parts. The body on the other hand, remains as-is from the previous owner…including all the scuffs, scrapes and road-rash. Eventually I will strip and re-paint this body, but for now – the yellow with blue stripes is staying. I cleaned and rebuilt the transmission and now this thing shifts through all 3 gears, like a dream. All axles were cleaned and re-greased. I finished this off with a replica mirror (…a big thanks to Cul-Tech for the mirror!). This truck has been extremely fun to drive and I guess it is inevitable that this will someday become another shelfer, but until then – I plan to drive this like it was meant to be driven. Comments are always welcome!

Thanks much for the kind words! This particular truck of mine was built to run! These pic's are just a reminder of what these trucks could do, since most of the Bruisers these days are not run hard. I know there are not too many pic's of high-flying Bruisers...so I wanted to put these pic's out there for others to enjoy.

Wow, getting some big air there considering how heavy these things are - well done that man.

Thank you all for the very nice comments! Mr.Nismo, currently I am only running a single Towerhobbies 1500mah-6cell. I plan on rewiring this soon, for two 6cells in parallel...hopefully it will give me a little more run-time. This truck is really fun to drive and the addition of the ESC really helps it crawl at those low speeds too.
