Well, everyone knows I like Dirt. In fact I like dirt a whole lot, but because wheel time is wheel time, and my local on road club is full of great people and races at night under lights, I thought I'd have a go. When a few of the guys suggested I come to the Vics, I:

1) laughed

and

2) Told them that I'd just get in the way of people who know what they are doing. Needless to say, I was persuaded with the promise of a week-end of driving and partying, which is exactly what happenned and I had a great time.

Just so as to look slightly respectable, I got Bormac to paint me up a shell, and it looks great.

If anyone who has the chance to go to a large major meet and passes it up, take it from me..... your just being silly. It was excellent (even though I had my dirt gear and they had closed the track for the week-end!!)

All spruced up How it would have otherwise been

You'd have to ask Bormac, he's the brains behind this one. I reckon he did a top job, although he tells me he was disappointed with it. From the amount of compliments it gets, I think he's just being too hard on himself!!

Looks good, I like what you did with the green handle on the back of it, does it make it easier to pick up

Yes the shell looks OK I suppose. The secret to getting the nice fade is to get all the colours on one after the other. All done with Tamiya rattle cans too.I just like what Antony did with the decals! Really brings this fun little car to life I reckon.
