I finally got it and the first thing you notice is the impressive crate it ships in - it looks like the sort of thing you can only open, when on a remote island somewhere following strict religious ritual. Even then the contents might not be for everyone...
Now famous or infamous this is the kit thats sparks a thousand debates - on the downside it might not be 'officially' Tamiya, rather thier German importer, the paint quality of the drivers is laughable and it rattles when you shake it.
On the positive side, its an overall impressive package, the decalling and body painting are quite good and finally it makes a nice change to my showroom and a definate conversation piece.

Afraid, its long gone now. I sold it to a 1:1 Mercedez enthusiast. And for the record, in the time I had it, it certainly shot up in value
