I've had this thing since January and I've finally got around to building it!
I wanted a more business-like look so the chrome parts were rubbed back and painted with automotive matt-black. The body was done in flat Tamiya light sand.
The interior is one of SCOLLINS finest. They really are great thanks mate! The drivers head is a temp from my Wild one until the Brat one is finished..
The bullbar is from RC4WD (after some elbow grease!)
I'm not a fan of the 1.9s on these, yes they look more 'scale' but I prefer the look (and ground clearance!) of the 2.2s
I went with a set of RC4WD alloy beadlockers and HPI Geolanders.
The chassis is fairly stock- with a few little mods...
I made my own 15mm bodylift to clear the bigger wheels.
It's fully ballraced and the steering uses a super heavy-duty servo with a home-made alloy servo saver after I destroyed the plastic one!
It's powered by a 65t Integy Lathe motor (I like 'em slow!!)
I cut the flanges off the diff covers to make them a little less over size looking and did them matt-black too.
Not much else I can think of at this stage- except I love driving this thing! It's fantastic!

Great idea of cutting the flanges off the diff covers. Might do this as well on my F350! Thx for sharing!
