Just thought i´d post a few pics of the current look of my Chevy truck, with the latest mods.

The dents are simply made by heating the plastic with a lighter, and then pressing the dent in the soft plastic. Afterwards, 'anti-rust' paint has been applied with an airbrush. Easy, but the overall scale appearance is helped, i think.

The snorkel is actually also pretty easy. I used a Clod bumper, cut in half, and bent with heat also.. Then the cap from a small container for drills on top, held in place by a shape-bend 3 mm screw, glued inside the 'pipe'. On the inside, i have drilled a 1 mm hole, and attached the snorkel with a small bodyclip, through the hole drilled in the fender.
Note that i have left one of the 'tabs' on the bumper-piece, to act as a 'mounting-piece' next to the windscreen..

Sorry if my English is not very precise, but i have tried my best to tell how it´s done, LOL..

If in doubt, look at the pics. ;)

Comments are of course, very welcome..

Cheers..
Michael

I love the fact that half the people on this site are trying to remove cracks and dents from old bodyshells - and here you are putting them in! Definitely looks the part though...

nice, you should cut the clod bumper vertically down the middle and it makes a really cool set of bumperettes for the rear
