Baby Rough Rider is born.... !!

Yippee !!!! picked it up from the post office tonight. Is even better in the flesh than it looked in the info. Arrived very quick from JR-RC. Looks soooo cute next to the frog. Have a big nasty Mamba Brushless to go in it for some FUN..........

now had the baby rider running and boy does it go !! took it to a building site and ramped it round - got through two 1400mah packs before problems hit ! The dust got into one of the rear bearings on the hub and siezed it solid. Had to strip the whole thing down and wash all the bearings through. They are shielded but not sealed so I may look into whether sealed are available in such small sizes. Mamba 8K setup is unbelieveable... Tightened the slipper clutch right up from the start and also had to tighten the diff up alot to stop it spining on the balls, goes well now though. Is great off road but would definately benefit from decent set of dampers. On tarmac the suspension is great - handles a bit like a wild one, it will even lift the inside wheel about 1/4 inch off the ground if you corner it tight and power on - Great !! A good balance of power on understeer with oversteer if you back off. Wicked. Have added a full size rough rider aerial to the rear to make it look like the real thing. By the way, front front suspension is a real tw*t to get apart if you ned to strip it down. See last two pics for the 'dirty' version........
