Bought this off of ebay, but then decided the Pajero shell wasn't for me. Wanted to stay with a lexan shell and it had to be either a Brat of Parma F150, L-U-K-E was selling a Brat shell so I grabbed that and then got to fitting the hopups and trying out some of the mods found on this site.
Rear mods included a 4 link setup using Tamiya 50520 Shock Set configured at it's longest setting, had some spare ball links and used 3mm threaded rod with 4mm alu tubing.
Front mods include hacking away to improve the steering and suspension travel, need to revisit this though as I'm sure I didn't remove enough plastic. TA02 universals fitted. Thanks to purple_rob for sending me the oil seals and Hillman666 for sending me some damper shafts so that I could convert the shocks to oil filled :)
Other mods - Brat driver mounted on the chassis, head turns via the steering servo! Rubber sealed bearings, upgraded steering, Graupner speed 600 motor, metal geared servo - see the link below for more info. Both diffs locked using G parts, was lucky enough to have some included in the original auction win, so only had to buy one set from TimeTunnel shop on here.
Cut the tyres for improved grip, also fitted some lead around the wheels (cut from from lead sheet), used a waterproof ECO20 ESC (from Bangstick) that seems okay with the motor (no reverse problems that some people have), and bagged up the receiver. Found a mardave V12 internal aerial bracket which I've mounted to the rear of the chassis - haven't tested it for range yet though. Just finished the shell in metallic green, masked teh windows off and cut the window decals so that I could use the window surrounds, went for very few of the Brat decals in the end, quite pleased with the overall look, mounted using standard Pajero mounts at the front, and a pair of Touareg ones (from Wrc action) at the rear :)
Looking forward to giving it a proper run!
Pete
