This chassis started it's life as an M02 Porsche boxter. I bought the chassis parts to take it back to a short wheelbase as the MIni or the Alpine to be able to fit this beautiful Ferrari 512 Berlinetta Boxer body from ABC Hobby.

Using long TGX rear hub shafts and 10mm wide wheel hexagons the car became wider at the back as the original. Then dipped into acetone the M chassis alloy wheels lost their red paint to look as close as possible to the original again. I have used the 60D tires because of their higher side wall, yes no rubber band tires at that time

Paint was challenging as you have a lot of masking to do but the result was worth it I think. So I went for the red and black livery, painted the front orange light instead of using the decals, same with the silver air intake at the front, the black wing and the rear bonnet details.

Some extra detail from ABC again are the number plate and the exhausts. The very special wiper is a modified F350 one, only added a few bits on it to look like the pantograph wiper installed on this car, the decal was good but I prefer this. Hope you like it and as usual comments welcome! Cheers. Jerome
