My only red sports car. The shell is made by Kyosho back in 1995 for the Nostalgia series 1. very high detail. I love this Ferrari because it has a timeless classic looks with huge growling v12 engine under the bonnet. The chassis is actually a Tamiya TT01. I opted for a TT01 because it has a very narrow thread to suit the tamiya 2-piece wide mesh wheels perfectly, also the shock towers are low enough to fit the bodys ultra low bonnet profile.I have the lengthened the stock 257mm wheelbase to a full 260mm to suit the shell. The modifications i did were the rear hub carriers. Body is painted with Tamiya ps34 bright red and the wheels have real vintage look knock-off wheel nuts too. Thanks for looking.

4 1 2 2 1 2 Shaved off 3mm on the rear hub carriers 4 Added 3mm spacers to equal 260mm wheelbase

I have to say, the best car Tamiya didn't build. Absolutely beautiful. 'Toys, they are not'

Love it, wheels are superb- same basic concept I was after plopping a Kyosho Nostalgic series GT40 body over a Tamiya chassis. ( TT01 would have helped me get the body lower in the front, oh well)

WOW! Nice work you've done on this 'replica' That is ingenious use of the two-piece wheels; I really thought they were the OE Kyosho spokes at first glance - Well done!

Chap it looks lovely, just like mine did before the hoofing petrol motor Launched me off a ruft off grass. And over she went (at speed .com)
And in the box she laid. Looked at her recently, might be time to get the gloves On and strip that motor and patch up the shell.

I must say them knocknoff centres do look the nuts.
Nice job chap.
