Almost completed the restauration of my Blitzer Beetle, this was a Chrome Metal.spec. looks like ##%$#,i've had to restore the whole front on the chassis,and with a new body and paintwork by Minicars Zaandam it looks like dynamite again,the color that was used is Tamiya TS-52 Candy Lime Green,I've build in a Dynarun racing stock motor and replaced the 3-spoke wheels for the white ones.
added a Baja look exhaust pipe custom made by miself, it only needs licence plates and maybe some decals and race numbers. Comments and ideas welcome!!

Looks much better this way, course I'm not a chrome guy. I like the details like tire lettering and tailpipe. very classy bug!

That's a fresh looking Blitzer Beetle. As a big fan of the Blitzers, it'S always nice to see them being restored.

Guy I work with had a Candy Lime Green Monster Beetle, I reckon this looks much better, and it suits the Blitzer better too. Great job on the stinger too. Might have to venture out in the cold to my R/C shed, and whip one up for my Blitzer.
