The brat is finally done, well finally.. took only about 4/5 days including painting. Already took it for a spin, and managed to scratch it a bit,.. Ah well its ment to be a runner so that would have happened sooner or later anyway. The purple paint is that green/purple chameleon paint that tamiya offers, only it does not show up that well due to the flash.
Got the wheels in yesterday, on the pic that i had they looked a bit bigger, want to see how they behave when riding but i think i will go on the hunt for some larger tires for them.
Its very cool though to own a rc again after a long time of inactivity.. The rcbug is well nested again, am planning on getting my old favorite, the lunchbox

Thanks for the compliments guys. Yeah, very likely that that lunchbox is coming sooner or later, have to rumage through my storage, i might even have the old one somewhere (i hope anyway) I really like the choice of ps colors that tamiya now offers, in the era that i am from they only had a couple, but now the choice is almost endless.

Love the colour scheme!. You're right, the wheels do look a little on the small size.

That looks fantastic - beautiful colours, and very well implemented - I wish I could spray like that!

What wheels and tyres are you using?

Again thanks for the compliments been a long time since i used a airbrush, let alone on a lexan shell. The foil i used to cut the flames out on was not really the good one, left some glue remains which where pretty annoying and also it did not seem to stick evenly, so there was some overspray in the flames. ah well luckilly the flaws dont show up too much in the pics .
Dont really know the name of the wheels for sure anymore, i think they where called streetpaw, i ordered them online at conrad. They dont fit straight on the brat though, i had to modify some hex adapters to fit them on the rear.

hehe well about a hour ago i did regret for just a small moment that it was not on the shelf when i overturned it. Now it has some scratches on the roof. The wheels or better those low profile tires do make it a blast to run on the street, especially when its a bit damp. But fatter tires would indeed look better.
