ive been busy restoring/building/painting some of my rally cars lately so here comes a showroom update..........this one has had new wheels/tyres chassis and most of the plastic parts as well as a new freshly painted/decalled shell in fact its pretty much only the interior and internals that remain from the original car!!

Monty, can I ask how you did the markings on the tyres?

Wow I just noticed the detail you've put into the cockpit sets, the co drivers hands look very real, could you add a picture with a close up of the cockpit set? It seems you used a different head for the co driver as well, is that correct? It looks very scale to me

follow link at the bottom to show cockpit pics yeh helmets are different as driver/ co pilot rarely have same helmets and as i was doing 2 at once it made sense to mix it up

Thanks for the quick reply! The two different helmets look great. I'm thinking of doing the same on my next Rally project (if that's allright with you).. I gotta say I love this body. However it's a pitty the blue decals and blue paint doesn't match 100% (shame on you MR Tamiya ! ).

Allright I'll better hurry up then! I have a body like this somewhere and I was thinking of painting all the blue areas. However that's quite risky too..
