Kyosho Ultima Reverso
The ultimate weapon for club-races! To improve the handling/cornering of my beloved Ultima (the only Kyosho I ever owned!) I reversed the complete drivetrain. This made a new chassis-layout necessary, which was done from alloy sheet metal. I used an Optima body and, as dot on the i, an Avante wing in all it's aerodynamic thinness!
At the end of the day it was ONE successful transformation (for local club-races, of course). First race for the ultimate Ultima and it proved it capability! First place for the first time. Those RC10s and whatever was creeping on the racetracks carpet, the Ultima showed performance and dominanz!
This persisted until next club-race was held... the old, short-winged RC10s were gone...
Everybody was armed and reloaded to bring down the king of 2WD.
In the end I sold the Ultima. One of the deals I regret. If there is somebody out there, who knows what happend to this car, droproproproproproproproprop me an line, please!
You'd make my day...

Hmmh.. interesting way U fashioned the stiffner from motor to front. Reminds me of Tekin RC10 kit which flips the gearbox and places motor to mid ...nice one

Hello, nice idea and nice build- i got a re release Ultima via Ebay, the previous owner did the same to it. Indeed it runs great, i wanted to bring it in original state but now its stays like it is. Greetings Jürgen
