Bought this in 1990, and its still competitive. Modified for racing on carpet, it has short shocks all round, home made shock mounts, top deck and gearbox brace, and the chassis and gearboxes have been cut away to reduce weight. Very fast and reliable. So many parts have been modified on this I would not even begin to try and restore it to original, it would be easier to buy a new one. Still runs with the original gear diffs packed with Kilopoise grease, I found the handling on carpet was better than using the ball diffs. new lowered rear wing mount to reduce frontal area and drag. Kyosho Optima suspension as the shorter wishbones improve the handling on road. The parts were a straight fit, I was suprised no one else tried this.
