I had not bought a new in box kit for a while as I have been thinning my collection right down but I just had to get one of these. I first saw one in the flesh at the 2006 Tamiya Model Fair in Japan and wanted to take it home there and then. I was lucky enough to be allowed to look and prod their demo runner as well! Now built up with a set of aftermarket oil dampers and a Team Atlas motor to give it some zip. Body is Rothmansesque copying a pic I found of a rally 934. This will be run this weekend in a demo race for the Tamiya Eurocup UK finals at Snetterton.

Looks really awesome! Did you paint the stripes or did you decal them? Nice work man!

Excellent paintjob.

The stripes were painted and all masked with Tamiya tape. I cant get on with masking fluid and I dont score tape on the shell so it can take a bit of time to do. Luckily these are a bit smaller so I can do it quicker.
