Clod based rock crawler - now broken for parts !
My second rock crawler, built on a stick chassis bought from Twinset. I saw these performing at the UK Nationals and they are superb !
Got the usual Integy motors running through 2:1 reductions and locked diffs. Special saddle bag style battery carrier and GT speed controller with Traxxas receiver.
It needs some larger wheels and tyres to get the best from it. The track is a bit wide and the 2.2 Imex Red Rocks are not ideal.
The HPI Lotus Elise body has been kicking about on the top shelf for a couple of years, it's light, low line and makes a bit of a change !
Getting ready for next years Nationals !

It looks like you have axle wideners fitted, perhaps you could remove them??? Nice lookin Clod-Stick you have though.

You're right, they will be removed when I get some Proline Moabs and wheels with the right adaptors. It won't work as well as in can like this !!

nice crawler, rc4wd's new 40 series mud slingers would look and perform great on that
