My Tamiya RC interest started when my elder brother gave me his 1982 Tamiya catalog. By the time he gave it to me, the cars from it were long gone from the stores. Now that I have most of the later cars I like it was time to have a look down the list. And the magic number stopped at 27! For some reason I always liked the Ranger more than the Sand Scorcher. A while ago I bought a SRB but unfortunately it did not meet my (new built) standards. It's pretty hard to find a car nearly 20 years old which has not run an inch. That one has found it's way to Richard 'super glue' van Gelder (you don't want to know what he all does with that glue, trust me). The SRB was a car from his childhood which was out of reach for him. He didn't think twice when I told him I had something which might interest him. He's restoring it and making a Sand Scorcher out of it. I had a bit of patience and bought this car from eBay and it's absolutely never been run. The complete body set was traded for some of my crown juwle parts but it was worth it. Just have to find some time to clean the car and build the car..

Thanks Tony for the trade. It was an easy trade as usual (haha!)
