1.9' Scaler conversion
A few weeks ago I posted a small pic of my current project, a 1.9' scaler based on the Wild Dagger chassis.
This project is growing little by little, and now it's time for other pics. To reduce stance down to 200mm I used TL-01 upper and lower braces along with the Wild Dagger chassis. This is nothing new in fact, I see similar project here on TC, but since I was wishing for a good basher with small tires (but decent performance) this twin motor chassis was the perfect start. I added some custom part such as the carbon fibre shock towers and aluminimu braces all around. This Pro-Line Toyota body was left aside by my dismantled E-Maxx project, I used Traxxas body mounts to keep it in place.
To maxximize performance I locked both diffs with hot glue, installed this (greats!) SDI tires and filled the wheels with 80gr of lead balls each. Still needs a lot of work, I plan to use an internal antenna, add front skid plate, driver, roof rack... More pics when done!
