fridays are great, and last friday was even better than usual as when i got i home i found this sat on kitchen table, batterys charged and ready to go a friend of my moms has asked if i want it, as he no longer uses it. so nice one Mike really appreciate it. i took it for a spin yesterday to see how it goes and its not bad, although the speed was a bit disapointing, so this one will sit in the wings until the time comes to stick a couple of 19t motors a full set of bearings in and a nice new esc but first i need your help. i know loads of people have these and loads of people love these, so heres my questions, suspension, what best and should i go bigger, if i do increase length of shox does it affect the drive shafts, do they need to be cushioned in the cups? with the esc is it possible to use a stock teu101 if so how do i wire it? also i plan on puting a hpi muscle shell on one of the ones designed for the tmaxx however i need to know the exact size of these shells as i think they maybe to big? and any other mods you think i should do, i plan on using this more for speed than anything else so need to improve handling and increase speed. thats the plan anyway. thanks in advance guys. at the mo it is completely stock, still managed to get a couple of half decent shots of it tho, well they aint too bad even if i do say so myself. let me know what you think. nice one

Looks to me like one of those rc cars that make alot of noise with the tyres and screaming motor, alot of heavy chassis landing and just pure fun. I've never had one of these but the teu101 i've used in 3 of my cars and are plain simple to wire as a new boxed one should come with instructions. Apart from that, an increased MAH battery and faster motor of any kind should allways fit perfectly. Find the instructions and count the bearings, and ballrace it if it isn't allready. Enjoy!!

The stock damper length is fine, put some oil shocks on and go for it. Longer shocks would require a taller mount, not just pushing the suspension arms down for more droop. The TEU-101BK won't cut it if you're wiring the motors in parallel, which is best for speed/power. To wire the motors in parallel the easiest way is to connect the negative on one motor to the positive of the other. Then in the middle of each of those leads, splice in the motor output leads from your ESC. For 27t motors you'll need an ESC capable of 15t motors, with good amp rating. For example the LRP AI Runner Plus Reverse handles 15t motors but in a Dagger you will get no torque because of the low amp rating. The HPI muscle shell should fit fine, wheelbase isn't that far off and you could always tweak it a bit by flipping one or both sets of suspension arms around for more or less length. Enjoy this ridiculously durable truck!

Two ESCs can work, but you have to wire it right and really it's not worth the work. Just put a good 15T ESC in like an MTroniks Viper RV15 or RVMAX, or get an EVX so you can run 7.2v or 14.4v.

I've tried with two receiver, two batteryes and two esc. Note that the front and back tyres will be unlinked, and you will have a lot of traction on the fron wheels. In any case the best solution is: remove the front motor and gears, and use a Mamba Max Brushless motor only on the back. Dagger chassis is really a good chassis, very strong, and good for high speed offroading. See also my showroom

Great trucks these are, nice shots too. Your best bet on an ESC would be trying to find a Speedmaster Silverstar Ultra then wiring it up as I have done here - [Click here]

thanks for the suggestions, i've had a look petrolhead and i think i might do the same, get on ebay to find one of them esc. as regards to running it in 2wd its a good idea, but i already have plenty of 2wd trucks so want to keep this one as 4wd. nice one
