Converted a GT01 to 4WD with a Kawada conversion kit. It was expensive but worth it. The Tamtech now has a belt driven 4WD carbon and alu chassis. Quality is up to Tamiya standards and I will certainly pass as a TRF. Large ball diffs are included and ball bearings. You can fit 7 cells (as I did) and use a standard servo. The motor is a BL Hacker 8000v and the ESC is a Quark 33A. A spectrum is installed because of the small place and interference with the large Amps on a small chassis. It looks great! For the body I use tha orange one and the wheels are from a GTO with the centre painted black. The last picts show the use of kawada mesh wheels with foam tires mounted with the centre gold. They are for the mini chassis and are a bit smaller but still look fab. Had some Dunlop decals made to finish the tires just like the real car (not goodyear on the Jagermeister)Hope you like this and I wil test run it on a indoor track today!

That's great. How can you fit all of that in such a small car? This baby must fly...... Great job, Nice one with the small decals on the windows :-P. The kawada wheels look great.

Stunning...! Loving those Kawada wheels which give the car a modern twist. I haven't seen the conversion kits. What sort of money do they run at...? This puppy must be pretty devastating with 8kV up it's chuff...

Just picked up a Kawada 4wd conversion and wanted to search for any other examples of it out there. This is lovely, I hope you still have it. So far the build is wonderful, definitely TRF quality.
