This is an original Scorcher body, which i found a few weeks ago in an terrible condition.
I decided to make another Street Scorcher (my TRF-Racing Scorcher can be seen by following the link below).
I first restored the body, it was a must for me that the Scorcher original holes for the body post can be used, so that the body must not be drilled and can be fixed on a SRB without other modifications again.

Restoring the body was great fun. After sanding it and repairing the body i 've chosen red/white with golden rims as colors. I took rims from the PIAA Porsche 911 with wide wheels in the rear and smaller in the front.

As chassis i've chosen a TA03-RS which has a smaller wheelbase than a normal chassis.

For mounting the body i had to make many changes on the chassis – drillíng & revelling & cutting.

I also had to enlarge the wheelbase, so i revelled the rear suspension a litte (4 mm).

In the end i mounted the Scorcher rear cage, a oil cooler and a exhaust pipe.

I dont’ know, if i should decal it, (i have got a set of Scorcher decals), or leave it as Street Scorcher

So here’s the result – i hope you like it – comments welcome! :)
