This Ranger SRB was bought from my Good Friend TC member Loaded ( Thanks Paul ). It's chassis was in a very good original state, looks like it had only had a few runs. The Body was stripped of paint and i looked like it had had a harder life than the chassis. The grill had been stripped of chrome so was a horrible white colour and some of the glass was damaged, but luckly usable. The chassis was stripped and cleaned. I installed a Sport Tuned motor, Anodized Blue Awesome Alloys Motor and Gear Covers, Full Ballraces, Hi Cap Front Dampers, TRF Rear Dampers, Gearbox Bash Plate, New SRB Front Bumper, Awesome Alloys Custom 1 Wheel Covers, Stainless Steel Screws and Modern Spektrum DX3 Radio. I would like to thank TC member Twisty for his help at the last moment for sorting the correct pinion for me. ( Thanks Simon ). The Body was next This was sprayed Tamiya Subaru Metallic Blue and clear coated and rubbed down and then given a final clear coat and polished down to a glass finish. The Decals are Tamiyaclub Ranger Decals in silver not white ( Thanks Lee ). The Drivers head was replaced with a Super Shot Driver as i liked the fire mask on the drivers face inside the helmet. The rear flat bed was masked and sprayed Tan to contrast with the blue and silver body. All the body detailing was done with masking and spraying all the matt black areas and the chrome was done with adheasive chrome foil. I also added a cut down old Alloy Scorcher exhaust and fitted it to the rear. The horrible white grill had to be sorted next and i thought of spraying it satin black and making a more aggressive looking metal grill from some screening. This was cut and bent to the shape of the plastic grill and glued on with epoxy resin and the grill was then detailed with lights and indicators. The wheels were Detailed and the tyre lettering was painted in matt yellow as all my runners are and i added blue wheel nuts to finish this ranger off. This model was finished in time for the filming of the next Moosey and Stevo 309 Tamiya 101. com RC DVD which will be out soon. Look out for it, then you will see this Ranger in full throttle action. Hope you like it.

That looks cool, I prefer the fire mask on the driver I suppose It also helps making it easier to paint also the black grill is nice gives it more of a racer image.

Yet again, a lovely model, the little touches like the pipe and wheel detail make all the difference.

I want it back. NOW!!! I have to admit, I didn't think you would manage, but you did! It was me that stripped the chrome, accidentally. I was in a hurry to remove the paint and sprayed the whole thing with Mr Muscle, which beautifully stripped off the paint, but also the chrome, I almost cried! I actually prefer the grill in black now.... Just to let you know, I won't do any more trades with you, Radek, it is just to depressing
