My Mom and Dad got this for me for my birthday this year, they were going to give it to me for Christmas but they knew I had a long break from school coming up and they couldn't wait! I've been putting it together bit by bit here and there; it takes a while because I sand every nub of plastic off of each piece, even when I cut them from the trees as close as possible. I also make sure that all of the screws are facing the same direction! I find that being this anal-retentive actually improves the kit-building experience for me; it slows it down and makes each step that much more enjoyable. I did my Lunch Box the same way; and I'll probably build each subsequent kit this way as well. I've got a TRF Special Damper for it, as well as lights and a pre-painted Hot Works Racing Nismo 350Z body. It still needs electronics.

Great gift buddy, you'll love it so long as you have a nice flat area to play, long run times and super fast even with the stock motor

These are really light chassis, I recently saw someone fit an HPI GT40 body on one of these and it looked great!
