Hi all, not sure where I was going with this one. I've seen so many fantastic 350's on the site, double cabs, flatbeds, snug tops and so on I just wanted this one to be a little bit different. It's been my Christmas project (the body took about a month or so) and is still far from finished.

As you can see the body is a 350 Hi lift mounted on a JunFac chassis, I've pulled all the arches out about 5mm or so just to make it look more proportionate to the wheels and give it more of an agressive stance(?)

The door cuts and filler cap were all filled as I think they would be on a 1:1 vehicle of this type. The rear axle has been linked to the gearbox bash plate with the diff looked for traction.
The battery has been relocated to sit between the rear chassis rails for better weight distribution and looks.

As you can see I still have to install and finish off the interior (it's just placed for the photo), re-install and re-route the electrics and a load of other small jobs.

This will definately be a runner, not sure what motor I will install (It has a 17x2 just for testing), probably a 21T or 23T when I get round to ordering one.
I'm in two minds weather or not to put decals on, I fancy going down the beach racer route but still not sure.

Anyway as ever comments and suggestions more than welcome. Happy New Year to all!

Finally starting to finish it! Will put up more pics when finished.

Reminds me of the old Mad Dog monster truck! I quite like it! I wouldnt have the rollbar tho, lose that and lower the driver and seats and it will look a lot better. Might have to cut the bottom off tho to do it cos of the mounting plate under the body. A race/sponsor scheme would finish it off nicely!

Looks very different something that is hard to do with so many people on tamiyaclub .How about making it look a bit like a chevy blazing blazer by adding custom made roll bar and roof .

Hey Renken, any tamiya rc is part of the tamiya culture, and by the way, who paid for the car? U or Happy Harry???
Nice work Harry, i should install a little windscreen like the renault sport spider.

Its certainly different, i think it needs a windscreen. The driver looks too tall for the cab in relation to the roll bar, either raise the roll bar or lower the driver.
