Hello everybody at Tamiyaclub, this is my first post, upload or what ever its called. Been wanting to join for about a year and eventually had a bit of time this xmas holiday. This purple foot is my first Tamiya, hate the colour love the truck, won it on the bay and thought it'd make a good learning curve. A good learning curve yes, helping maintaining my bank balance no. The first thing I've learnt is if you dont buy from new or boxed you spend more restoring and getting any missing parts. I've probably spent over a ton on this but have enjoyed collecting the parts, eventually I hope to strip clean, restore and maybe customise using the parts. Maybe it will become a shelf queen... no it wont, just cant help myslef. There is plenty of mud and puddles where I drive it, cant believe it hasn't failed, water has been above the tyres. You'll notice I've placed the old receiever battery pack outside the spaceframe on top near front, easier than trying to squeeze it through the spaceframe when batteries need changing. Will fit BEC/ESC etc eventually. Waterproofed all electrics with resealable bags and zip ties. Couldn't think how I could possibly waterproof the motor with some sort of snorkal device though. Well thats enough ramblings from me, comments welcome. HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone on TC!

Cool, the KBF was my first car as well though mine was new. Restoration will be tough as the body is expensive to find new! If it is in good shape save it for later. The stock MSC has a BEC circuit present, perhaps you are using a different one? Anyways let me know if you need any parts for this one, and welcome to the site!

Ah, wishing I still had my SuperBF. This middle evolution were absolute tanks, built for the bash. That's what they're meant for!.
