Not for long

Christmas is a good time of year. Especially when your wife does amazingly nice things.
She asked me what I'd like for Christmas and I mentioned that I'd love another kit. She still doesn't get the grown men with toy cars thing, but she knows that I love tinkering around with them. Anyway I showed her a Super Clod and we agreed it was a bit excessive and I showed her the hilux and explained how cool it was with all those features (she sort of glazed over at this point.
Anyway, santa comes and there's a big box under the tree. Cool I think, that's a kit! It get better. Its a Clod!
What's this got to do with a hilux I hear you say? Well, we do the usual Chrissy family run to the in-laws and in the chaos of the grand kids getting spoilt appears another box that no-one has claimed. I get a tap on the shoulder and it turns out its mine.
I ripped away the wrapping paper and then thought I might sit down (before I fell down) There my very own Hilux!
I'll be building it when the bearing it turns up and I'll attempt to do it box art. But with a clod to run as well the kids better get used to daddy being pre-occupied.
