Have been infatuated with Nichimo ever since I stumbled across my Exceed on E-bay. Something about the over engineering/ awkwardness/ugliness that makes them look so beautiful to me. I'd like to thank Mike (Monstermadness) for agreeing to sell me his beloved Midships which was a birthday present to myself. One thing Ive noted is that The Nichimo ''Vantage'' is a pipe framed version of The'' FF Spirit'', both being front wheel drive and The ''Midships'' is a pipe framed version of The ''Exceed'', both being 4WDS.

What a cool collection- never really had anything to do with the Nichimo- but like you love the complexity.

Right down to the gold wheels, red body, wishbones and even box art dip in the suspension as it corners, this is a blatant copy of the Hotshot. Love it! I like copies, when they are not actual rip off copies, just good old fashioned plagiarism. SIncerest form of flattery. Nice car. Paul.

Don't forget the 4W Steering, mid mounted motor and three diffs. Didn't the Supershot have gold plated wheels....

Yes, the Supershot had Gold wheels, but only because the Hotshot owners clubbed together to kill Mr Tamiya for putting them on the Hotshot box, but not inside! I was really commenting on the look of the box, rather than anything. The 4WS and 3 diffs I didn't know about, as I have never seen this model.
