These cars are very high quality and extremely good racing cars, i'm driving a TRF415MSX with a MRE center and diff pulleys and i'm very pleased about the car. I will upload some pictures of it when i have the time. Cheers

Awesome. Have you seen the current price of the 415MSX from [Click here] estore - $275.

wel got the same prob. with the car as you do. elecs. hmm. running at the moment with a dul NiCd2000 batterie and a venom 13x2 motor, goes wel i think but real racing, i wont never ever be possible to keep up with them due to the cheap venom *****. but improving my life found a Tamiya volac MS esc. looks good and a sanwa MX-3 trans.
so now a good motor and accu and receiver and, and and and.....never stopping story. cheerse have fun with
i have raced and owned several 415s at the moment i have the mre and all i can say is what a car if you can be botherd to maintain it constantly as mine needs it!! as electrics go if you can afford it go for a brushless setup with a good fast servo however that can be very pricey
what's the difference between the MSXX and the MSXX MRE? I'm in the market for one

I'm surprised to hear one of these requiring a lot of maintenance, the only things I have really had to do with mine on a regular basis was rebuild the diff and make sure the shocks hadn't leaked (the shock leaking has since been resolved by using the Hop-Up seals which haven't needed any maintenance since I installed them). The only other area to really keep any eye on are the front UJ's, although the SPEC racing ones are a great replacement and come in 42 - 46mm.

There isn't a lot of difference between the MSXX & the MSXX MRE - from what I recall it's really only some of the etching on the motor mount and the top deck. Hope that helps.

From what I've managed to gather about the MSXX and the MSXX MRE is, the MRE is as it was 'Set Up' by Marc Rheinard during the world championships. Meaning the locked front diff, and the particular adjustment's used during the build. All MSXX parts are interchangeable between the 2 models
