6X6 DEUCE AND A HALF
Just lined these up get the idea of the slightly different layout to Tamiya standard.
Extended 56301 gear shaft B which provides drive and the driven steering axle mods. Haven't fitted the leaf springs with 'The Gear Doctor' spring conversion parts just yet.
I must say I am enjoying this 6X6 build!

So do these parts come as akit from 'the gear doctor'? I've had a look on hs web site and am a bit confused as to which parts I need.

Hello mate, yes he sells part kits or variants on a theme depending on your requirements i.e. 2 speed short gearbox version or 3 speed standard lengh gearbox 6X6 conversions for long or short 1:14 trucks. He has various bits as required. You may have hummer wheels and tyres already in mind or these new Fulda tyres on standard Hauler Wheels, it's up to you, depends what you have got in stock already. He also supplied me with me a rather torquey motor 6700 revs max or less loaded (I think) Low revs but Loads and Loads of GRUNT!
1:1 Deuce and a half wheels would be about this scale size at 1:12 so this set-up suits me fine. email him in English his name is Kai [Mail me] Cheers!

Thanks for that. I'd like to build a 6x6 military style or perhaps a logging style 6x6 truck using the King Hauler as the starting point. I do like the Fulda tyres on the stock rimes too. I guess I better bite the bullet and buy a 'Hauler and take it from there!
