Well I finally finished the Landjump 4D. It took about 40 hours in total to do the restoration. I was fairly apprehensive getting into a project like this having only been in the hobby six months and solely collecting vintage electric cars. I had planned on running this and took it the local hobby shop (owned by TC member superju) and asked him to ''make it go''. He and some other people in his shop convinced me I would be mad to run it and that it wouldn't be like anything you can get these days. Then to prove their point one of the people in the shop took me across the road and gave me a demo on a modern day 1/8 gas truggy which ''totally blew my mind!''. I must have been living in the dark ages cos this thing was amazing. Anyway I'm drifting off the subject, pictures don't do this car justice!!. It is the pride and joy of my showroom and is second to nothing. Even my vintage AYK, Nichimo & Marui... cars pale in comparison to the Landjump. I might even sleep beside it tonight!. thanks for looking.

Awsome looking buggy! You've done a fanatstic job restoring it, I wonder what techniques you used to restore the metal? Top notch work! When I finally get around to restoring my old Landjump Integra I hope it looks half as good as this.

For cleaning techniques I mainly used a dremel with some ''Autosol'' to polish it up. Half way throufh the project I acquired a ''Ultrasonic cleaner'' which is what dentists and jewelers use to clean their tools. It works by emitting high frequency sound waves that implode violently against an object literally shaking everything off of it. Its very handy and saves me a lot of time projects.

Dave brought this into my shop, he was lucky to leave alive!!! I hoped that he would turn his back so I could say it was stolen!! Pictures don't so this justice, this thing looks like it was just built from a nib. Hes got the frame powder coated yellow, it look superb. I will get this off dave sooner or later. I've infected him with Rc fever, a horiffic disease which makes you sell everything for new rc goodies!!. Racing will get dave sweating , who knows what can happen. Superb job again dave
