'Beautiful' Blackfoot

I got this new - and immediately wanted another...!
The Blackfoot has such a presence...
Like my other 'Tamiya oldies', this has been kept running by buying occasionally others to use as spares.
The wheels and tyres as fitted in the pictures are off a Blackfoot that I bought on eBay - from the previous owner of Windmill Models - the same shop in Burnley that I used to go in over twenty years ago for my 'stuff'. It's a small world.
The bodyshell is relatively undamaged after all these years - and is destined to be restored soon.
I have some reproduction decals - and fancy a new glossy finish. I will post new pictures when I get around to it...
The driver is from another body that I got off the Bay - he's painted better than was mine !
Picture 6 shows black plastic 1150 bearings fitted under the battery end stays - to allow easy use of twin-stick 6-cell battery packs.

Love the old blackfoot, mine got a real hammering , and is in a bits , also missing the body due to damage which is a shame.
