My first 'serious' RC car
Hi everyone!
For my first showroom entry, I decided to show you the first ever 'serious' RC car I owned (and the only one at the time). By serious, I mean not a toy.
I got lucky and found a store in Paris where the guy had kept quite a few Boomerang kits, amongst other things. I bought them all, and sold them (some to you here at TC), but I kept one for myself.
This the one I'm presenting here. I've changed a few things:
-wheels dyed black
-white tires fitted
-dual front shock system (dampers come from a Gravel hound)
I had to cut some parts on the suspension arms and front hubs in order to fit the wide wheels, but I'm actually quite pleased with the result.
I still need to paint the driver.

I like this alot. The black shocks really go good with the wheels are tires. Very creative

Sweet. I usually don't like funny colored tires but on here it looks good. Also like the black lettering.

You must be the same age as me, I had a Boomerang when I was a kid (11) too and my father wanted me to buy a Rocky. I got the Boomerang and loved it!

This is by far the coolest looking Boomerang I've seen and I think it's because I'm liking the white tires! Very cool look.
