This is my second fav off road car (first is the evo) because of the body set is the nicest one i've seen on a tamiya.

This is my race car with a full ballrace set down to the little ones on the wishbones. The car is a copy of the race winning astute of jamie booth's so has some mapcap parts like : the rear hubs, the rear wishbone holders (the astute ones are weak) and front stub axels.

The rest of the car is super astute with the following hop-up's : Fibre-lyte - chassis, shock towers and rear brace
Tamiya - hi-cap dampers with square springs AND (buy the look of them) home made alloy uprights i got on another astute off ebay.

The fibre-lyte parts are good BUT the chassis has no front battery mount holes for the super astute and the front shock tower is hard to fit because you need to cut out some parts, re-drill the body mount hole and cut some of it off BUT the good thing is it gives you the best position for the shocks/arm's when using the super astute arms.

UPDATE: this was my car before it gets a strip down and plastics swap with a new 18 version.

My favourite SA on the site. The mods on this are sweet. I have a picture of the TRF SA from way back and this is the closest replica ive seen. Amazing!!

Hi mate, just landed myself Hi-Cap dampers with Square springs. Is that a standard combo?

Just awesome. Does the fibre-lyte chassis make it a bit more rigid than the kit item? Cheers! /P
