reference photos from japanese website for vintage stuff- INCREDIBLE SITE
I found a Japanese website dedicated to the racing and tricking out / modifying vintage rides from Kyosho, Tamiya, AYK..etc... and the pics on the site are gorgeous. It is called TIME-TUNNEL.....Check it out, I am bummed I did not discover this sooner as it is a great source of ideas when you are thinking of a new project. I would still consider TamiyaClub my number one pick, dont get me wrong fellas.........But this other site has a strong direction on creative use of old and new parts, these guys are serious kit-bashers with a great sense of style. I hardly saw one car that was box art which is extremely refreshing! Very much a resto-mod crowd (my kind of crowd), I only wish I could read Japanese!!!!!Inspirational stuff for anybody who loves vintage stuff and wants to supplement their daily dose of TamiyaClub! thanks all, scollins

Maybe i am late to discover this site, but it is a joy to browse thru it....Amazing attention to detail, and all of the cars on there look like they get raced regularly, love it!

I gave a set of rear suspension arms for the the white Wild one last time i saw him. He broke one and i had a spare with me so he was abe to race it.

Hey Scollins, you found where I get most of my inspiration from (apart from TC of course). Here is the link to his blog with pretty cool pictures: [Click here]
Yes, you're absolutely right! It's amazing how much further the Japanese enthusiasts have developed the hobby, and are so much more creative and focused on quality than us outside Japan. It's almost embarrassing how badly we are all lagging behind Japan, but we can at least get some inspiration from their websites!

Well, it should not be a surprise these guys are into the hobby so strong with lots of creative ideas. This is where the Tamiya and Kyosho brands are based after all, these guys are into it with pride! Gotta keep our eyes peeled for new creative ideas, regardless of what website or location they come from!
