really neat story behind the buggy. pat is a really great guy. he was the first person that i bought something from on ebay that contacted me to see if i was happy. the amazing thing was that at the exact same time i was sending him an email to introduce myself and get some history on the buggy. i was in the process of peeling of the stickers and getting ready to start stripping the paint and stopped with the numbers went to the computer and started typing. when i sent the email there was one waiting in my inbox from pat. i replied and he replied to mine. the numbers actually had persnonal meaning to him and i decided at that moment fate had me leave them there and i would keep the buggy as it was. he also sent me some neat stuff with it. the car cover and a flyer from the early 80s. i also included the email he sent to me. i hope everything is legible. comments always welcome. enjoy.

Nice find Christian. It's funny how people have personal attachments to RC. I'm the same way with anything from my childhood.

Good move keeping it as is - always makes models a bit more interesting when they have a good story behind them.
