Got this off Steve (Scollins), he did a super job restoring this as a runner. The body is probably a re-rel 6160... typical Steve quality.. cool... but I am going to run it. Its sports a Stealth transmission with full ball bearings. Fitted a 23T Kawada motor to check its speed before I bolt in something hotter. Opted a LRP self programming ESC for no brainer operation. I did a bit of work on the shocks. It was original painted gun metal (fits the yellow chassis best), but I opted to remove the paint , and what was left of the anodize on the shock bodies. Did some work to stop a leak on both front shocks . Also put a final car wax treatment to add a final barrier to the bare aluminium bodies , hope it doesn't oxidize. I fitted some used tires for car park/ lawn action. Too bad after charging up 2 packs, it decided to rain... darn.... maybe next week.

I am very pleased with this as it fits nicely into my line of 2wd Vintage runners.

Scollins handiwork... yummy Associated and American Some bling

@ Craig (oz), most work done by Scollins, the pics don't do it justice as I took it wee hours of the morning without much sunlight. Actually the 2 silver strips are semi luminous decals, really sets this body off. @ Tobbe70.. RC10 is very nice.. you should get yourself one. I had none 2 months ago. I have 3 now ( 1 gold pan, 1 gold painted yellow, and a graphite.. more pics later). RC10Bug is very contagious.. beware! @ Scollins, its a pleasure to deal with you. On hindsight, maybe should have asked you to sign the body. I consider U amonst the top designers in TC... LOL (its not a joke)
