I got this Kyosho Chevy Chassis last summer on ebay as part of a big lot.
It was pretty ruined at that time but I liked the trailing arm suspension.

Mods include:
1.) Red Kyosho shocks, modified to have two o-sealing rings

2.) I used a steel ring from a tamiya Heavy duty servo saver to strengthen the one plastic gear (last pic red ellipse)

3.) I build an undertray out of alloy profile to cover the chain. After that i realized that the ground clearance in the middle could be improved. So I build 2 posts in the undertray guiding the chain upwards in the middle. The posts are made out of 4 plastic Tamiya bearings and servo saver posts from a Lazer cut to size.
In the picture of the undertray from the side the red circles/ ellipses show where the posts are mounted.

The tyres were replaced with SDI Trial Doctors.

Now the task is:
- Plastic box for RC components
- Findy a good body for 28 cm wheelbase
