i have a mint new built tamiya golf here, and no matter how much i want to theres no way i will ever actually run it so i figured i would do a Kamtec Lexan Mk1 Golf shell in the same colours as the proper Tamiya boxart shell for my mardave v12, now i can sort of run one! hope you all approve?

I approve. I also really like your wheels, where did they come from, would they have the standard Tamiya hex mount??? Thanks for the info.

Forgot to ask, where the decals came from?? I didn't get any when I bought my Kamtech shell.

wheels are just the standard mardave ones i had on my v12 but wont fit on hex mount axles afraid they have a wierd cut circle type design ?!? the decals are just random spares i had kicking around (numbers from calsonic skyline, volkswagon from some aftermarket mk3 golf, kc from rough rider i believe, window surrounds etc just cut & used some art store vinyl) hope it helps

The Kamtec Golf is lightyears away from the Tamiya Golf qualitywise, but thanks to your skills, it looks great anyway!

Looks superb! Keith at Kamtec has taken a copy of one of my original Tamiya Golf shells. There was a pic of it in my showroom somewhere I think on a M chassis Mini.
