Made the tray out of 2mm steel plate and 6mm solid bar. It's a bit on the heavy side but it looks a lot better I think. Still have to finish painting the tray and add some lights and scale stuff in the back. Thanks for looking.
Very nice work, I love flatbeds, there is a store nearby where I live that sells and installs them for all the Ranchers here, They look pretty much like this cool!
