Hi guys,

I couldnt count how many requests I have had to take photos of this car and post them up over the years. This car is pretty much one of a kind. This RCL Incident was the test mule for a prolific Sydney based after-market manufacturer of R/C parts called RPM ENGINEERING. The car that you see here has all the mods that the company developed for for the car, including custom diffs, obviously a custom carbon chassis, cnc'd alloy centre gearbox etc etc etc....way to much to list. The company did produce these parts for sale as well - however they only did a few carbon chassis as they were extremely expensive. Most people made up their own version - however they all seemed to use RPM's centre gearbox and other mods.

Rather than try and 'brain dump' everything here in the first post about the car - please feel free to ask questions about the car - whatever you would like to know - I will do my best to answer it.

Again - please feel free to ask any question - either about the standard car - or this modded one.

Thanks for looking - and as always your comments are appreciated.

Cheers

Darryn

RPM Engineering, That's a name I haven't heard in a while.. Wasn't the owners name Phil Baker?? Any ideas as to what happened to them, are they still in business...?? I bought the gear drive conversion for my Zerda from them many years ago.. I've still got one of his business cards lying around here somewhere..

Hi Guys,

Yep - thats him - Phil. I purchased this car - and his higly modded Progress/gallop as well. Boith cars were VERY nasty in terms of condition.

I perhaps shoud post a pic of what the standard chassis looks like first? This way people that havent seen the standard car before will appreciate just how modified this one is....

Thanks for the coments.

Are the 'Eagle' tires specific for this car?

No, The tires are just ones that I thought would look good on the car. I was going to fit original tires - however the car is modified - so I tried to keep with that theme.
