This is the first car in my showroom. I was busy with another Blackfoot body but because I wanted that one to be perfect I got a little 'blocked'. I put it aside and started this build for a runner XC/crawler. I bought it second hand and it has been to both heaven, hell and back again. The chassis was equiped with a fast 600- type motor and abused. The body cam from a Super Blackfoot chassis but was so bad I didn't dare to sell it: cracks and repairs all over it. Even the front grille and lights had been cracked and glued back in with tons of glue. But I just wanted a rough runner and with little ambition I started and got more and more happy with it. Not having to be perfect is a great thing I guess! It works for Tamiyas as well. I ended up with a good driving low budget XC that has several unique ideas I loved to make up. Before this I mostly made lexan bashers for me and my son but this way of modelbuilding is very satisfactory. And now it's finished I got back to Mr. perfect who is gonna be just nice, not perfect, too.
