Already had this idea in my mind for several years, but I never got the project started due to other projects, lack of time etc. Inspired by similar builds of other members I finally managed to start the project. For the chassis I chose an M-03 as they are easily and cheap to get. It’s front wheel drive, but that’s isn’t a big problem as I expect the car will only be for display. The wheels from kawada with 60D m-chassis tires give the car the proper stock look which I aimed for. I filled all the holes in the body and painted it tamiya chrome yellow. It doesn’t look much “chrome”, but the yellow suits the car well. The finishing touch came by adding a XR-311 driver and a mirror from an Alfa which I had lying around. The driver suits the car pretty well; only shame are the tinted windows. In my opinion this should be the way Tamiya had released the Pumpkin, or should release…

Excellent a job well done. The mirror though a small detail makes one hell of a difference. Think i'm going for the street rod look in a candy colour. How is she mounted. Velcro?

Very nicely detailed and realistic looking. Those wheels grow on you. Aside from a slightly lower rear end, that sucker looks awesome and the driver is a great touch too. I think the tinted windows fit in well where I live and all the cars have them, but you are right, in the old days, there wasn't much tinting of windows. I wish my dad had kept his F-100.
