Datsun Fairlady
This showed up from the Netherlands this morning which is on the other side of the World from me. It seems to have arrived safely and had been wrapped in the most unusual way including a leopard skin garment and a dish washing sponge. I'm hoping to restore this as much as possible starting with trying to find a copy of the manual.

Well it seems that the leopard skin did it's job and scared off the people who wanted to open it before you could
super gripper
It's a good job no body tryed to feed it or put it in quarantine! Odd packing yes that one.

i say make some leopard skin seats for it or furry dice...lol

Cover an old model with it and scare local cats or perhaps a tarzan loin cloth for you. Keep the missus happy and she'll turn a blind eye to more purchases. Method in the madness. Great model and seeing your landjump know this will be another great project. Restoring one of my Landjumps at the mo.

lol, you got a bargain mate, do you know, how much they charge for the retro animal skin look, these days.lol

By the way are the ultrasonic cleaners any good. Do they shift old nitro fuel thats set like glue

Wild packaging

The ultrasonic cleaner wont remove every thing but it will loosen things enough to be cleaned with a dremel. I have removed tires from their rims that were glued on after 20 minutes in the cleaner. IMHO they are a good investment for restos and cleaning cars. Just remember to take the ball bearings out or it will suck the lubricant out of them. by

Thanks Dave will watch this with interest. Off to continue with the landjump. You might like my silver foxes by the way

Well, the Dutch are a bit wierd, yes. I thought that was a Tamiya Leopard, in that case it was the most hilarious packaging I've ever seen!

We need a weird packaging competition. Like the tamiya leopard joke. But dont tigers have the stripes? leopards cant change their spots
MvT
I bet you didn't needed to pay import tax when they took a peek Cheers!
