Finally decided to buy one.... don't know why I didn't do it sooner. A real pleasure to build and equally as good to drive. Have added DF-02 universal front shafts, slipper clutch, clear smoke gear cover and limited edition fluro yellow wheels. Also decided that the kit body posts were really ugly so left them out and used velcro instead.

Nice color combo! The yellow wheels fit the car perfectly, maybe you should consider buying some Tamiya alu dampers to really finish it of

Now that looks different! Nice to see actually - good combination of colours and those wheels do stand out don't they! I have been sticking to white with mine but yellow mmmmmmmm? A oneway on these does wonders for the stability.

I decided to go with the yellow wheels so the car would match my Lazer ZX-5. I would love to add more hop-ups like the shocks and one-way but I will be racing it in a DF-03 class at my local club. The class only allows the UJ's, slipper clutch and 29t pinion.

Did Tracey get hers finished yet? I'm considering buying another of these. Anything but the standard colour scheme does the looks wonders.

Yeah Mike, it's all complete except for the decals and gluing the tyres on. I know what you're saying about the standard paint scheme. It's quite a 'let down' when you compare it to some of Tamiya's best boxart paint jobs from the 80's.
