At last!

I started collecting Tamiya way back in 1997 or so when I saw an advert in a British magazine from a guy who wanted to buy vintage Tamiya models. I phoned this guy and it started a nice friendship. Frazer and I did a lot of exchanges and this was the very first car I got NIB. I sold it a couple of years ago, but thanks to another good mate, I managed to get this beauty back into my collection.

This car is the reproduction of the Porsche in which Jacky Ickx won the 1978 24 hours of Le Mans. Jacky was celebrated that year and he drove this racing car through Brussels!
