Fiat 500 - Sold
Hello everyone!
A bit of a nostalgia: the chassis is a simple ABC Hobby Genetic (picked it up with a Sunny Coupe shell which is going on another project), but nothing special about that. The 'special' thing for me is the body: the Fiat 500L is the car that my mom was driving when I was born. It was a navy blue one and when my brother and sister were born (twins!), the car, being too small for 3 kids, was put to retirement in the countryside. Well not quite...after my father totally disassembled the engine, we (my brother, sister and I) travelled thousands and thousands imaginary miles in it!!! O what fun we had then. Love you Mom!!!

Gorgeous, at first with the thumbnail size photo, I thought it was a Mini Cooper, but I am sure glad I opened the large photos. Beautiful color, what is it??

Color is Tamiya PS-4 Blue, backed with white and then black

Love these cars! Great story too! Can't wait to see that Sunny Coupe shell. Have been thinking of that one too as I love those vintage Datsuns.

Looks great and love the story But hang on France you got to do a 2cv project or was it deu chevaux? Its amazing how we get affection for crappy cars. Excellent job and look forward to seeing more especially the sunny coupe i had a 1:1 version sad but true.

The Citroën 2cv (also known in France as la Deuche) is indeed a crappy car. But if I had to pick a car for the Crappiest French Car Contest, that would be a Renault 6 like my grandmother's one who would carry us all to the trainstation on holidays: My ass still hurts!

Wow, this car is super clean/cool looking. Did you drive it before you gave it to your mums?
Sayroll
Nope, I didn't. It's still brand new.

A beauty indeed! My father had one Fiat 600 30 years ago. Your scale vehicle reminds me a lot of that one.
