Hi, well this car is by far the most fun and most reliable i have. It has had plenty of use and a little 'light' abuse and runs like a dream.

I bought the XB model as the price was spot on, i picked it up a couple of years ago now.

Its had a lot of modifications so bear with me while i probably bore you rigid!!

The first thing that went are the shocks, the fronts are Blitzer Beetle and the rears are tamiya but not sure what model, they do the job perfectly.

I snapped the front shock mount so i upgraded that to the alloy one which you see now, may upgrade the rear at a later date.

The whole car is ballraced, and has the alloy propshaft and alloy motor mount fitted.

I fitted some home made front turnbuckles, and alloy wheels hexes.

The rear spolier is actually pretty clever, i wanted something to replace the stock spoiler but couldnt find anything suitable. The one that is fitted is actually two 1/10 touring car spoilers that i left uncut and then carefully measured and cut a new buggy spoiler out of them! Hey presto, not a bad job if i say so myself ! lol

I got some strong perspex from work and made myself an underguard to protect the chassis from any major damage with stones etc, this is fitted with strong sticky pads.

The shell has some major air conditioning, this is due to the fact i blew one ESC cos of not gearing this properly so i wanted to ensure all bases are covered for the future.

I recentley purchased some larger mah stick packs (3600mah +) but these dont fit very well in the battery compartment and the battery cables 'pinch'.
I got round this by removing the stock battery strap and posts and using some cable ties and sticky foam blocks, i fitted an 'unlockable' cable tie from the LunchBox to secure the packs.
It works great!

The motor is a Peak Racing STRATOS 13X3 and the ESC is a Nosram PATRIOT. Both great pieces of kit, i also fitted a heatsink on the motor.

The motor currently has a 17t pinion fitted as i sometimes run this buggy with much larger wheels/tyres (see last pic) but this pinion seems to give good all round performance for me.

This car has been jumped/flipped and even sat upside down in a DEEP puddle at Clumber Park and just runs and runs......i give it plenty of TLC after runs and its never let me down.....yet!

The wheels shown, are an unknown white 5 spoke, which i painted black and has Schumacher Mini Pins fitted.

The only small niggle i have is that there isnt a lot of room under the shell to fit the electrics, just aim for the centre and you cant go wrong!!

Overall, this buggy is the best i bought, and the performace is great. It flies with my new 4300mah pack, and with the bigger wheels/tyres fitted can go over anything.....within reason!

Nice loking buggy. Good idea with the wing and you hardly notice the cooling holes in the body. Nice job and its a cool looking car.
