Had this body lying around for a while, bought it cheap at a Hong Kong online shop. The Lancer EVO 6 is one of the best EVOs in my opinion, it just looks so mean!

I was planning on making it box art just like my other Rally cars, but then I came across Maxxed Ross Imprezas which made me think of paint this EVO like a street version. Some weeks later I came across Lord of Hoards showroom which is full of cars with nice carbon detailing! I contacted him about how to apply the carbon and his answers helped me a lot (thanks Andy!) So then I knew for sure it had to be a street version.

I painted the shell white as some of the stickers are painted on white and because white gives a nice contrast with the carbon decals. The carbon decals are made by Parma, the rims are Bronze HPI TE37s with 3mm offset on the rear and 0mm offset on the front.

The body sits on a TA01/TA02, it has Taisan grey gearboxes and FRP plates from the Top Force, bought some of these parts from Dazza1 (thanks mate!).

I also fitted it with the touring car cockpit set from my Supra and a license plate with my initials on it.

I hope you like it!

It looks fantastic great job. I think Tamiya should bring back the cockpit.

This is very nicely build with the interior and carbon details. And I wish my TA-02 chassis looked this good...

Yeah Shame on Tamiya for not bringing back the touring car cockpit set, we're lucky though they've re-released the Lancia so rally cockpit sets could easily been found. Thanks guys for your comments

Very nice evo, I much prefer the street versions, I also love those TE37's, think the real ones are about 2k a set lol

Thank you all! @ Wez-li : 4 of these TE37 were only 12 USD! I love 1/10 scale, maybe you should track down a set for your 1:1 Celica
