I've had this Lancia for a while now (listed in my showroom when first 'put on the road') However I have always wanted to fit a lighting kit in it as it's just gagging for em. In the manual it shows you how to fit 'small bulbs' in the holders but always wanted to fit LED's.
Theres been a few 'how to's' in the tutorial bit but to be serious i'm totally thick when it comes to diode this, wire there, this LED etc so when 3racing brought a kit out for I think it was £12 - i thought not worth messing about with diy ones and bought a couple. It didn't come with enough LED's for the spots so ordered another pair and started wiring em in. It comes with indicators, side lights, main lights, tail and stop lights and spot lamps. Wiring was a doddle although there is a lot of it LOL. Due to the back lights being one on the Lancia I partioned these with some small ally sections so that when the indictors and sides are on they don't merge. Apart from that just followed the instructions. If you do it though i'd strongly recommend sorting all your wires out before fitment. Have them all plugged in then start fitting one by one. If I can do it anyone can.

The effects are great - the spots work all the time (you can switch them off by the control box) the sides are on all the time and when you accelerate the main beam comes on. When you flick it into reverse the brake lights come on and the indicators work via the servo.
Overall a very good and easy to follow kit.

Nearly five years on, I want to thank you for inspiring my current Lancia Rally build - your model with the lights looked fantastic, and I wanted to replicate that. Excellent work with your layout!
